Any techniques that can eliminate or reduce stress without the use of drugs or lengthy therapy would prove extremely valuable. Stress is related to many diseases (e.g., cancer) and is attributed to accelerating the aging process as well.

There are many techniques for changing the content of ones thoughts. Most common examples are meditation, hypnosis, biofeedback, affirmations and therapy. One of the most direct methods however is through visualization. Visualization may involve mental pictures of real or imagined experiences. What has been demonstrated scientifically, is that the human nervous system cannot tell the difference between an imaged experience (i.e., visualization) or a real one.

The key is to synchronize the subtler brain wave patterns by the use of specific mental imagery for a positive future.
